You do need a username or library card and a PIN to log into the library catalog. San Jose residents can obtain a free eLibrary card to access the library's online resources at any time. For more information: https://www.sjpl.org/blog/sjpl-elibrary-card. To obtain a full-service library card, visit any San Jose Public Library during open hours.
