Q. What is the Teen HQ?

Answer

Teen HQ is located at the King Library in the Mezzanine (above the Children’s Room).

      Teen HQ is a special area of the library reserved for teens ages 12-18.        

Some of the special features include:

  •  A recording studio with a sound damping room with microphones, mixing boards, and editing equipment to make your own songs or podcasts 
  • In addition to teen fiction, magazines, comics, manga, and audiobooks, there are special areas for studying, relaxing, gaming, recording music, and a makerspace for exploring new technology.  
  • The makerspace has cutting edge technology that teens can use (after being trained) including a 3-D printer, CNC router, laser cutter, sewing machines, and an electronics workstation.
