Q. How much does Career Online High School cost?

Answer

Career Online High School (COHS) is a program offered through San José Public Library as a free service to the community and to fulfill its mission of supporting lifelong learning, community outreach, and local economic development. The library awards scholarships valued at $1,200 for enrollment into COHS to adults who want to earn an accredited high school diploma and a career certificate. Students should demonstrate their commitment to completing the program through their effort and time spent on classwork. Scholarships are limited. Successful completion of the prerequisite course does not guarantee a scholarship will be awarded. If you request a transcript from one or more of your prior schools in the U. S., there will probably be a small fee (around $15 that is your responsibility). If you want to have transfer classes from other countries, you will have to pay the cost of having your foreign transcript evaluated.
